HTML Tutorial for Beginners - part 1 of 4

A day of rememberance- Last lesson of EPPD1063

               Time flies so fast and it came to the last lesson of eppd1063 computer application set6 we had in computer lab 1 on 17th Dec 2015(Thursday) .
             On that day, our lecturer- Pn. Masura gave us some advices to study and prepare well for final exam. She also answered every question asked by the students about the technique to score well for the coming exam. We also had some quizzes through Kahoot to do revision for what had been learned in class and a game about "Do u know me" . The students who achieved the highest score or at top5 in the quizzes would receive a gift from our lecturer as a prize for their hardwork in studies.
             After the class ended, we felt so happy to take some photos with our beloved lecturer- Pn. Masura to be kept as a memory. We really like this class and enjoyed every moment of every lesson that we spent and learned together in a relaxable and harmony situation. All of us felt so lucky and proud to have this super nice, friendly, lovely and dedicated lecturer- Pn. Masura.
             Last but not least, we want to say : Pn. Masura, we love you !! <3 :)

Presentation Day of EPPD1063 Aplikasi Komputer

            10Dec2015 was the presentation day of EPPD1063 applikasi komputer Set6. The topic of presentation was to create a company that is selling goods or services and by using Prezi or Powtoon to convince investors to invest in our company. Our group- 1Malaysia chose to use Prezi to do presentation of a wedding planner company.
          Our group members are Jamuneswary a/p Padmanathan, Wong Zhi Ling, Miss Laila Yanai and I. We were so happy to be in a group because we could know each other better and give our cooperation together in doing this task. We managed to take our time to gather at one place to discuss the task though many of us were busy. 
           On the day of presentation, we dressed in formal and gave our best presentation to our lecturer-Pn. Masura and friends in class. We were so glad that everyone paid full attention when we were doing our presentation.

Class of eppd1063

Today after doing kuiz about HTML , lecturer randomly chose a few students to do presentation about "If I'm a lecturer of eppd1063, I will..." I was shocked that I was selected to present as this was my first time doing presentation at UKM. I felt nervous and finally took courage to do it. After that, there was another kuiz about Microsoft Excel and followed by presentation done by some coursemates.
Our lecturer, Pn. Masura discussed the answers with us and explained every question for us after finishing the kuiz. We were glad as we learn a lot about HTML and excel through the questions from kuiz and also got the chance to do presentation.

Recalled back for the day of 10 September 2015. It was my first time in attending "Applikasi komputer" class in Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. I'm so glad to meet my lovely lecturer,

Pn. Masura and friendly coursemates here at the first week of class.

We were divided into different groups to discuss about anything which is related to computer.

What is the meaning of "applikasi komputer"? Applied computing uses the practical application of computer principles, concepts and technologies to address real-world problems. Applied computing uses aspects of computer science to solve problems in various disciplines, including politics, business, education and the environment. Working in this field, you'll likely use a range of programming, software engineering, graphic applications, networking and operating systems management skills to collect, analyze, store and distribute information that will help resolve issues for individuals, groups and companies.

Undergraduate and Graduate Education Tracks

Schools offer both bachelor's and master's degrees in applied computing. Sometimes schools offer applied computing as concentrations in broader degree programs, such as applied science or computing and software systems. Your coursework in these programs could include topics such as computing basics, programming, software engineering and analysis. Electives typically include network design, database systems, computer graphics and computer simulation models and theory. Many programs require a capstone project that showcases your applied computing skills, and some offer internship options as well.

Career Options and Opportunities

Job titles and duties vary by industry or sector, but positions that require applied computing knowledge generally involve maintaining computer systems or developing computer software or applications. Your traditional career options in applied computing include network management, database administration, systems analysis, technical support engineering and software engineering.

Earning an education in applied computing could also prepare you for graduate study in law or medicine. As an example, applied computing is often used in biomedical research, performing tasks such as molecular sequence analysis, DNA mapping or virtual cell modeling.
